Cloud hosting is a new way which goes a few steps beyond what is Virtual Hosting. Clients can auto-manage their network, servers and virtualized storage units. It is not restricted to one server but can be scaled to any number of servers necessary (or those made available by the provider.

Cloud hosting permites clients to up-scale (more servers) or down-scale (less servers) on demand.  These architectures that permit a major stability and resilience were until not long ago only available to big companies that were able pay for them as well as their maintenance.

The client only pays for what is used thus permitting control of spending and adjusting to the client's temporary needs, be it unexpected traffic peak or seasonal traffic peaks.

AbiCloud permits Hosting Providers to mount their own Cloud Hosting infrastructure.
