Abiquo Takes Best Cloud Management Honors from Cloud Computing World Series Awards
Beats Hewlett-Packard and VMware in Award Determined by Panel of Independent Cloud Experts
Redwood City, Calif. – June 21, 2011 – Abiquo, the leading Enterprise Cloud Management software provider, today announced that it won the Cloud Computing World Series award for Best Cloud Management Solution. Abiquo took the top honor in the category ahead of finalists Hewlett-Packard and VMware. The award, determined by a panel of independent experts with experience in IT, was presented to Abiquo at the Cloud Computing World Forum 2011 award event held at the Olympia Conference Centre in London, England.

The Cloud Computing World Series Awards annually recognize the best Cloud products and services. An independent panel of judges, including press editors, industry analysts, management consultants, and practicing IT architects and leaders, selects the winners. This year, the judges had to select from hundreds of nominations in each category.
Despite the fierce competition, Abiquo was a finalist in two award categories (Best Cloud Management Solution and Best Virtualization Product or Service) and emerged as the winner over HP and VMware for Best Cloud Management Solution. Abiquo received the award because the product is the most complete enterprise-class cloud management solution that is available today.
